Maharashtra budget - BJP govt scraps LBT, to charge premium on vertical development - Tv9 Gujarati

Mumbai : The BJP-led government in Maharashtra in its maiden budget for 2015-16 has proposed tax proposals worth Rs 643 crore. However, the government did not make any changes in the stamp duty. Maharashtra finance minister Sudhir Mungantiwar on Wednesday announced the scrapping of Local Body Tax (LBT) as the Devendra Fadnavis-led BJP government presented its maiden budget of Rs 1,98,000 crore in state assembly.
