For Fall/Winter 2015-2016, Sarah Burton has conceived a collection that softly acquiesces the real essence of Alexander McQueen.
Starting off with a sequin embroidered coat with a cinched waists and black shiny to matte leather boots underneath, the looks begin to show a rather doll-like feel, bringing the long coat down to jacket size and throwing a black turtleneck underneath, the black and creamy white accordion skirt falling to the knees. That skirt comes in red as well and looks positively perfect with a bustier and over the elbow long gloves.
Embroidery also finds its way into the line-up, while the creamy frills really remind us of cake icing. Spiky black T-bar bandeaus that connect to chokers appear later on in the collection, while we see the necklines plunge into deep Vs before we once again come face to face with almost bondage related sexy pieces, including a leather crop top and matching skirt with gloves and boots set. Floral patterning does exist as well, particularly throughout the last batch of dresses, including those that seem to be made of dusty pink and blood red roses.
The creamy half boots do come in longer styles as well, edging up to the knees and tucked underneath a long coat in the same coloring.
