As rumours circulate over the whereabouts of President Vladimir Putin who has not been seen in public since last week , Russian state-run television has broadcast a much publicised documentary featuring the leader.

The programme focuses on last year’s annexation of Crimea and contains an exclusive interview with Putin. .
