Graphic video shows Suge Knight's alleged hit-and-run

LOS ANGELES — Graphic security-camera footage, which TMZ says it posted at the request of the deceased victim's family, shows a fatal hit-and-run incident allegedly involving Death Row Records founder Marion "Suge" Knight as the vehicle's driver.
The altercation happened outside a Compton fast food restaurant on Jan. 29. Knight, who is now facing a murder trial, claims that the men he was arguing with were armed with guns and that he drove off to escape any harm, resulting in the two men being struck by his red truck.
Cle "Bone" Sloan, 51, is hit first in the video, followed by Terry Carter, 55, who died. Sloan was hospitalized.
"The Carter family is pleased you are releasing the video so the public can see what actually occurred and not be forced to speculate based on third-party descriptions of the video," TMZ reported Carter's family lawyer Gary Dordick saying.
Knight, 49, turned himself in to police after the incident, which his lawyers describe as an accident. Knight pleaded not guilty on charges of murder and attempted murder.
The parties involved were reportedly arguing about Knight wanting to "make peace" with fellow Death Row Records founder Dr. Dre after he had been kicked out of a video shoot.
"The argument escalated and the driver backed up, striking one of the victims," the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a statement. "The driver then drove forward driving over both victims. Various witnesses described the driver as being Marion 'Suge' Knight."
Knight co-founded Death Row Records in the 1991 alongside rappers The D.O.C., Dr. Dre and Dick Griffey. The label boasted such talent as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tupac Shakur, MC Hammer and other West Coast artists.
