Hare and Tortoise - English Moral Story

The Hare and The Tortoise is a moral story in English. In this story there is a Hare and his friend Tortoise. They both always quarrel and roam in the jungle together. One day they decide to compete each other in a race to see who is faster. They decide on a starting point and start racing from there. The Hare runs really fast and goes far ahead. Soon after sometime the looks back to see the Tortoise, but he could not see the tortoise anywhere. So the Hare gets relax. He sees a farm beside the path. In that farm there were fresh vegetables and roots which the Hare starts eating. He thinks that he will eat something, sleep and relax for sometime than will go ahead. Tortoise can never cross him and win the race. After sometime the Hare wakes up and he still cannot find the Tortoise, he still thinks that Tortoise has not reached and he goes towards the finishing line. When he reaches there he sees that Tortoise is already waiting for him there. He lost the race thinking that he can never loose to Tortoise. Moral of the story is never underestimate anyone.
