Five years ago, 33 men were buried in a collapsed mine in Chile. More than a billion people around the world watched as they were finally hauled to freedom after 69 days. The survivors chose to tell their story to one man. He wrote the official account, entitled "Deep Down Dark: The Untold Stories of 33 Men Buried in a Chilean Mine, and the Miracle That Set Them Free".
It's been made into a movie starring Juliette Binoche and Antonio Banderas. Eve Jackson speaks to the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and novelist Hector Tobar.
