Ahmedabad: Is Gujarat University serious in dealing with swine flu situation? - Tv9 Gujarati

Ahmedabad: Swine flu has claimed nine more lives in Gujarat taking the death toll to 256 but authorities of Gujarat University seems negligent towards the deadly disease. Despite imposing section 144 to prevent swine flu, colleges are open and gatherings still continues in several colleges of the city. Asking about measures taken against swine flu, GU vice chancellor MN Patel said, "We do not see any point in giving holidays to students interrupting their studies and we are taking adequate measures to prevent swine flu".
