Volunteer searchers discovered the boy, Elijah Marsh approximately a thousand feet away from the home he wandered away from in the backyard of another residence. He was wearing only a pull-up diaper, winter boots and a t-shirt.

Elijah reportedly had no vital signs when his body was found and he was rushed to the hospital. Not long after that, he was pronounced dead.
