Varun Dhawan is all set to showcase his serious avatar in his upcoming film, Badlapur which is set to see its release on February 20. The film is a vengeful drama and Varun will be seen essaying the character of a lad named Raghu. Of late, we have spotted Varun pulling off a Raghu with his signature style hammer in one hand, at various promotional events. This time around, the actor chose to showcase his quirky avatar at a radio show where he along with co-stars Nawazuddin Siddique and Huma Qureshi, performed a Qawali!

As seen in the pics above, Varun can be seen having a gala time with Nawaz and Huma. Along with this, the actors were also seen talking about their upcoming film and the experience they had while filming for the same.

We liked Varun’s turnout where he wore casual black tee which sported a monochrome print of a trumpet on the front. Huma, on the other hand, disappointed us with her floral printed dress as it did nothing to compliment her skin tone or body!

Varun’s character Raghu has been compared with Sidharth Malhotra’s in Ek Villain and Shahid Kapoor’s in Haider. While the actor is baffled on why such comparisons are being drawn, we wish to see the actor turn the tables around with his next. Will he succeed in doing so? Let us wait and watch!
