Cuba tells US to stop aiding opposition

Cuban officials said that if Washington wants normalization of relations between the two countries it should stop financing the opposition on the island and if it wants free movement for its diplomats it should stop using them to organize and direct the so-called dissidents. Havana is also calling for the return of the Guantanamo Naval Base to Cuban sovereignty and for compensation for the effects of the five decade long economic blockade.
