The apartment was very dark and black smoke took over the air when they entered. Captain Christian Palmer said he and his team were using the wall to feel objects around the home and safely move through the apartment.
The crew soon located the three children who are all under the age of 5. At the time of the fire, the kids had been unconscious.
Each soot-covered child was successfully removed from the home. Fresno Firefighter James Perkins, who saved one of the children, remarked, "I had to look back at the video to really realize my reaction to it and I don't remember reacting the way I did.
