Ahmedabad: After biting a man to death, a camel bit off its master's left hand, severing it from the elbow. The unbelievable shocking incident took place when the owner was taking the animal home from an animal shelter where it was kept for a week after the death of Govind Trivedi. While the aggression is shocking and in-explainable to state health department that gave the animal a rabies free certificate, ASHA Foundation director called it breeding season aggression. A 55-year old Lalsinh Rajput was on his way to his house in Bapunagar with the camel when the animal bit off his left hand, separating it from the elbow, near Hathijan crossroads. While most onlookers were stunned, a few mustered courage and rushed him to hospital.
