"We didn't know what EBBA was before we won the award", says Jules de Martino. In 2008, The British indie pop duo The Ting Tings receives international recognition with their hits That's Not My Name and Shut Up And Let Me Go. A year later, the band wins an European Breaking Borders Award, this year the band played at the EBBA Awards. Katie White: "We produced the album in our bedroom, we never even expected that our music would leave Manchester."
