6 Land Rovers Used To Create Britain's Largest Sand Drawing

Half a dozen Land Rover Defenders were recently used on the sands of Red Wharf Bay in the UK to create a work of art. That installation could very well be Britain's largest sand drawing to date.

Half a dozen Land Rover Defenders were recently used on the sands of Red Wharf Bay in the UK to create a work of art. That installation could very well be Britain's largest sand drawing to date.

The beautiful feat was carried out by Jaguar Land Rover Limited. The idea behind it is to honor the model in an epic farewell installation and also to celebrate three new three exclusive, limited edition vehicles.

The reason why Red Wharf Bay was chosen is because that’s where the Defender was born. The man behind the model, Maurice Wilks, first conceptualized the design on the same beach where the 6 classic models were utilized for the sand drawing.
