In this edition:
- Worldwide Berlin: Berlin in Germany is the most famous Berlin in the world. But there are more than 100 other Berlins around the globe. A new documentary sets out to explore some of these lesser-known Berlins and tells us about other "Berliners" as far afield as Africa, Asia and South America. Starting on January 10, "Worldwide Berlin" will be broadcast in four parts on DW.
- Olafur Eliasson: The King of Light. euromaxx heads to Paris to see a solo exhibition of work by Danish-Icelandic light artist Olafur Eliasson at the Louis Vuitton Fondation.
- Saas-Fee in the Swiss Alps:When most people think of Switzerland, they automatically think of the Alps. These are at their most spectacular in the Canton of Valais.
- Written in the Stars: The start of a new year is a time when many wonder what the future holds. If anyone can tell them, it's astrologer Gerda Rogers.
- Going to Work Where Others Go to Holiday: Europeans love to holiday on Gran Canaria, one of the Spanish Canary Islands. euromaxx met up with an activities' host from a holiday resort.
