Iraqis displaced by IS brace for winter

Winter is coming in Iraq.

And for the two million people displaced by Islamic State, unfinished buildings offer the only refuge.

Yazidi refugees living here are going into winter with painfully cold memories.

"We can stand almost everything that happened in the genocide, but taking away our girls. That is the most painful thing."

To make matters worse, aid agencies are struggling to provide for the displaced.

The United Nations has raised not even a third of the more than $2 billion dollars it needs to support the displaced Iraqis through 2015.

And unless more donations emerge, assistance will have to be cut, leaving many out in the cold.
