New Honda Unicorn 160 Launched In India

Finally, Honda launched its Unicorn 160 in India for a price of Rs approximately 70,000, where the most Combi-Brake trim is packed for a price near to Rs 75,000. Both prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
As expected, Honda even deployed the HET on this Unicorn where it claimed to deliver the fuel-efficiency of 62kmpl; and the top-speed is claimed of 62kmph.
Naming the changes as seen here, firstly it’s the headlamp that poses differently. The tail light is given LED treatment and even the speedometer goes digital. On the other outing, muffler is chromed and floating cowls are fitted. Even, the fuel-tank is slimmed to snug the legs tight over it for more confidence.
Overall, the major chunk of enhancement comes at the engine where this new machine is carried with 163cc single-cylinder engine producing 14.5bhp power and 14.61Nm of peak torque mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Hence, the major rivals of Unicorn 160 will be the Yamaha FZ FI, Suzuki Gixxer and Hero Xtreme Sports.
