An actor in North Hollywood has been accused of eating his ex-girlfriend’s pet and making threats towards the woman.
An actor in North Hollywood has been accused of intimidating his ex-girlfriend and eating her pet rabbit. 46-year-old Dimitri Diatchenko, who previously landed roles on ‘Bones’ and ‘Sons of Anarchy’, is now facing charges of animal cruelty and making criminal threats.
The couple lived in the same home for some time after their romantic relationship came to an end. On Sunday, however, the victim told him she didn’t want to be roommates any longer.
Prosecutors described what allegedly happened next stating “While the victim was out of the house, Diatchenko skinned the pet, cooked it and ate half of it while sending her step-by-step pictures of what he did.”
When his ex returned to the residence, Diatchenko reportedly said he would do to her what he did to the rabbit. He was arrested and booked the same day.
He posted $50,000 bond and was released the following day. The actor is scheduled to be arraigned on December 30th.
A KCAL9 reporter has since spoken to a woman claiming to be Diatchenko’s ex. The female claimed the entire ordeal is a misunderstanding and that her bunny is safe, but she did not provide any evidence to corroborate her statements.
