It's a huge bummer when you've given your heart to someone and they turn around and screw you over. Jeremy's thoughts are, don't turn to drinking, light a bonfire use that as a cleansing of the negative energy. A large Smudge if you will... It's a good thing he didn't burn that sweet truck.
