Caught On Camera - Thief Steals Woman's Purse In Restaurant

Many women will admit to placing their handbags down or momentarily stepping away from their purses. A 71-year-old woman in Philadelphia paid the price for mistakenly leaving her bag inside a restaurant.
A 71-year-old woman in Philadelphia made the mistake of leaving her bag unattended.
Unfortunately, it gave a thief the perfect opportunity to make off with her belongings. The theft occurred during the afternoon of Thursday, November 5th.
Shortly after the elderly woman left her purse inside the Happy Donut Restaurant and walked out the doors, the suspect entered and grabbed a seat. He looked down on the floor and spotted the bag near the wall.
The suspect nonchalantly grabbed the handbag and slid it towards him.
While a nearby customer’s back was turned, the thief slid the handbag under his shirt and walked out of the establishment.
According to police, the victim’s purse contained 14 hundred dollars in cash and a cell phone. Security cameras were rolling the entire time and the suspect seemed to know that, as he ducked his head on the way out in what appears to be an effort to conceal his features.
