FARC denies holding Colombian general

Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos took to television Monday to explain the government's decision to put peace talks on hold, following the disappearance of General Ruben Dario Alzate in rebel-held territory. The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), however, strongly denied knowledge or responsibility for Alzate's whereabouts. Nevertheless, the Colombian president said he was holding the FARC responsible for the general's well being and that he should be returned immediately. Santos also said an investigation would be held as to why Alzate was in rebel territory in the first place. Charles Parkinson reports from Bogota.
