Bono, the frontman of U2 is known worldwide for his musical talents and humanitarian work. Recently, he was involved in a cycling accident in New York City's Central Park.

On Sunday, his band mates announced they would be canceling an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ as Bono would be unable to attend. According to reports, Bono has to undergo surgery due to the accident.

A note was published on U2's website that reads “It looks like we will have to do our Tonight Show residency another time - we're one man down. Bono has injured his arm in a cycling spill in Central Park and requires some surgery to repair it. We're sure he'll make a full recovery soon, so we'll be back!.”

That announcement came merely days after Bono was involved in another traveling mishap, which occurred while he was on a plane.

While the Learjet he was in was flying over Germany, the door for the luggage compartment fell off. Fortunately, he wasn’t injured in that incident.
