State Dept. rejects Israeli settlement expansion

The US State Department expressed its concern over and opposition to Israel's decision to build 200 new homes as part of settlement construction in occupied Arab East Jerusalem. The land was captured by Israel in the 1967 war and the annexation of East Jerusalem and settlement construction have never been recognized by the international community. teleSUR
