He delivered the news to his fans during a November 10th broadcast on TheBlaze TV.
Beck said that he’s better now, but the troubles began 5 years ago when he was involved in the Washington DC ‘Restoring Honor’ event.
At that time he experienced paralysis of his vocal chords, arm and leg pain, and seizures.
His eyesight and sleep patterns were also becoming issues.
Over time the symptoms in many cases worsened and expanded to include mental function problems involving verbal recall and facial recognition.
Several doctors were consulted and none offered an effective treatment plan.
At one point he was advised to leave work for a year and spend time with his friends and family.
Help reportedly came after he left New York and took up residence in Texas.
There he began seeking treatment at Carrick Brain Centers and eventually was able to overcome what ailed him.
Beck didn’t give a specific name for what he’d been suffering from, but mentioned it involved an autoimmune disorder and adrenal fatigue.
