Clashes erupted at Qalandiya checkpoint on Sunday (November 2), after Palestinian activists took to the streets to protest over the closure of Jerusalem’s al-Aqsa mosque compound.

At the checkpoint, a flashpoint near the West Bank city of Ramallah, dozens of Palestinians hurled stones at Israeli forces, who responded by firing tear gas and stun grenades.
