Ecuador: Amazon Defense take Texaco to ICC for crimes against humanity

The Ecuadoran Amazon Defense Coalition has placed a case before the International Criminal Court that accuses Texaco of crimes against humanity. Texaco has left serious environmental damages in the Ecuadoran Amazon. The plaintiffs in this case says qualifies as crimes against humanity as per Article 7 of the Rome Statute, "systematic attacks against a civilian population." teleSUR.
