Outside the International Space Station, Expedition 41 Commander Max Suraev (Soo-RYE’-uhv) and Flight Engineer Alexander Samokutyaev (Sah-moe-KOO’-tee-yah-yev) of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) conducted a spacewalk Oct. 22. They removed and jettisoned experiment hardware and antennas no longer needed on the Russian segment of the complex and performed a detailed photographic survey of the exterior of the Russian modules. It was the third spacewalk in as many weeks for Expedition 41 crewmembers on the station, the 184th in support of space station assembly and maintenance, and the second for both Suraev and Samokutyaev.
