The plane crash in Moscow on Tuesday which killed Total CEO Christophe de Margerie involved “a criminal connivance of officials,” according to Russian Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin.

Three French crew members also died when the French-made Dassault Falcon 50 burst into flames after it hit the snow plough during takeoff from Vnukovo airport.
