Ahmedabad: Fire brigade teams screens cracker stalls to check safety equipment norms - Tv9 Gujarati

Ahmedabad: The fire department officers are patrolling all spots where permission was granted by the civic body to firecracker vendors to ensure fire safety equipment are in place. Each shop should have fire-fighting equipment installed. While issuing the licences, Municipal corporation ask them to keep fire extinguishers, sand buckets and water tanks near each stall but several shops failed to adhere to Fire safety rules and regulations.
