Dallas County judge: Condition of U.S. nurse Pham with Ebola "downgraded to fair"

The condition of Nina Pham, the first person in the U.S. to contract Ebola and one of the nurses to treat a Liberian man stricken with the virus in Texas, has "been downgraded to fair," a Dallas County judge told reporters on Saturday (October 18).

Outside the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins also commented on the decision to send nurse Pham and another healthcare worker who contracted the deadly virus to separate healthcare facilities outside of Texas.

Pham is being treated at the National Institutes of Health just outside Washington, while Amber Vinson is being cared for at Atlanta's Emory University Hospital.
