Kandi says her scalp is always itching when she gets Senegalese Twists and she thinks she is allergic to kanekalon hair because she is always having problems with itching when wearing this hair.
Tip #2: You are Sensitive to the alkaline base sprayed onto the braiding hair.The alkaline base is to prevent mold from growing on the hair. If dust collects on it and becomes moist, its the optimal environment for mold growth. Braiding hair is produced easily in mass quantities and it sits around the factory until an order is place. Without this base, mold can grow on the collected dust overtime on top of the hair.
Tip #2 Wash the hair in a solution of apple cider vinegar or shampoo. Lubricate the area with oil that will have close contact to your scalp is optional before braiding and twisting.
