Now he is known for his Sufi and folk singing along with a strong base of Hindustani Classical Music. DEEPA The love for music has been there from my childhood. An ICSE school student and a Psychology graduate, music was always a part of me with performances on stage and radio. In the later years, when I was in China, it was music that rejuvenated my soul. It kept me connected with our culture and I continued to imbibe and explore whatever I could. My stage performances were appreciated, as I sang in different languages in different places. Since my return to India, I have been whole-heartedly indulging in music and will always do so. Other like : I love to write jingles and play musical instruments. I wrote the lyrics and composed the song for the hotel - Holiday Inn Pune Hinjewadi. I also like to read and take long walks. Music is that extra-special life-long bonus Providing a thought-provoking mental stimulus Makes the mood delightful Makes dull moments beautiful And the positive energy it infuses is tremendous In the journey of existence Each and every instance As I enjoy and continue to explore Trying to understand the world more It is music which makes all the difference ---- An intoxication which makes me, me.
