Altaf Hussain Felicitates Muslim Ummah On Eid-ul-Azha 2014

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Mr. Altaf Hussain has felicitated the entire Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha and said it taught us to sacrifice for the assent and pleasure of Almighty Allah.
In a statement issued from London Secretariat, the MQM Chief said that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also continued to observe the ritual, which shown its importance in religious life. He said that Abraham’s act to sacrifice his own son Ismail for God’s pleasure shown his submission to Allah.
Mr. Hussain also appealed to the philanthropists and generous people to come forward and extend their assistance to help out the calamity hit people, IDPs, poor, needy, widows, orphans and others. He urged people to donate hides of their sacrificial animals to Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF) to let it carry out its charitable business. He said that at the time of crises people needed assistance and he who came forward to help them out, would remain under God’s mercy.
He congratulated MQM workers and office-bearers of Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and overseas units, including America, United Kingdom, countries of European and Middle East regions. He urged them to visit to the martyrs, detainees and missing persons’ families. He directed them to join on the occasion of EId-ul-Azha to feel them comfortable.
