ISIL closes in on besieged Syrian town

Syria has issued a warning to Turkey, saying it will regard any intervention in its war as aggression. It comes as heavy clashes are reported around the town of Kobane, which lies close to the Turkish border. Kurdish fighters are involved in a desperate battle to prevent it falling to ISIL.
