Venezuela launches national plan against Dengue and Chikungunya fever

The National Special Plan Against Dengue Fever and Chikungunya has been launched in Venezuela. The national plan aims to eliminate mosquitoes and breeding grounds of 'Aedes aegypti', which spreads dengue and chikungunya fever. To date, the Health Ministry has registered at least 1,700 suspected cases of Chikungunya, and 432 of them have resulted positive, and more than 48,000 confirmed cases of Dengue. TeleSUR.
