A day after an intruder prompted a partial evacuation, a second security incident at the White House.

Less than 24 hours after a man jumped the fence, getting as far as the doors of the mansion, Secret Service say another man tried to enter the White House grounds.

He was arrested for trespassing. Officers could be seen securing the area on Saturday.

A Secret Service spokesman says the man in the second incident approached the White House gates on foot, was sent away, but then returned in a vehicle.

While they haven't revealed his name, they have identified the man involved in the first incident as 42-year-old Omar J. Gonzales.

Friday's security breach and this latest threat are raising concerns about operating procedures at the White House.
