Joan Rivers was honored in a special "Fashion Police" episode airing on Friday (September 19). The comedic legend's daughter Melissa spoke about her mom, who died earlier this month following complications from an outpatient throat procedure.
Rivers was the star of the fashion show, which judged celebrities' wardrobe choices - often with funny and biting remarks from the comedian.
The 81-year old was rushed to a New York hospital on August 28 after she stopped breathing during a procedure at a Manhattan clinic. She was put on life support and died a week later.
