A boat carrying wedding procession sank in flood in Multan near Sher Shah Barrier leaving 17 dead including the bridegroom. The bride was saved from sinking by the rescue team but groom lost the battle of life somewhere in the water. Rescue operation is still going on in the area to search for more people. According to Rescue sources, wedding procession was coming from Basti Chenab to Multan when suddenly the boat lost its balance and got rocked.
