Man Says George Zimmerman Stalked Him After Threatening to Kill Him

George Zimmerman seems to have an endless supply of get-out-of-jail-free cards.

Zimmerman, the neighborhood watchman who shot and killed unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin in 2012, had another run-in with police this week. A man told police that Zimmerman pulled his truck up next to him at a light and shouted, "Why are you pointing your finger at me? I'll f*cking kill you. Do you know who I am?"
The driver, Matthew Apperson, 35, said that he did, in fact, know who he was, and tried to drive away immediately, according to a police report.

But the show goes on from there. Zimmerman followed Apperson to a parking lot and rolled up alongside him, according to Apperson's account on a 911 call recorded by the Lake Mary, Florida, police department. Zimmerman blocked Apperson from getting out of the driver's side of his vehicle, at which point Zimmerman and a passenger threatened to shoot him.

Apperson, who didn't have his cellphone, said he scrambled out the other side and dashed into a gas station to call 911, though Zimmerman and his passenger sped off before police arrived.

You can listen to that 911 call below (the first person speaking to the dispatcher is a gas station employee, then Apperson comes on).
The Lake Mary police showed up at the office's parking lot to give Zimmerman a talking-to, but Apperson is not pressing charges, and officers told him that it would be hard to build a case against Zimmerman without other witnesses. Zimmerman told police that he had a doctor's appointment nearby. Here's video of the police paying Zimmerman a visit.
Zimmerman is building quite a history of run-ins with police that lead to nothing more than an outpouring of news articles. In addition to his acquittal in Martin's death, his then-girlfriend Samantha Scheibe didn't press charges against Zimmerman in 2013 after he was arrested for allegedly assaulting her, pointing a gun in her face, destroying her coffee table and shoving her out of their home.

Also during 2013, Zimmerman's estranged wife Shellie said he had a gun as he smashed an iPad during an argument between the two at their home. Shellie never pressed charges and she eventually said Zimmerman was unarmed when they got into their verbal spat.
