"THE GREAT GATSBY" Fashion Style by Fashion Channel
This evening there will be the opening of the Cannes Film Festival 2013, whose godmother is Audrey Tautou, with the projection of the much awaited film The Great Gatsby by Baz Luhrmann. It will be the whimsical Daisy played by Carey Mulligan, mistress of the heart of Gatsby (Leonardo Di Caprio), the symbol of this 66th edition that is looming, in large part, devoted to women.
The film is based on the novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
The story takes place on the northern coast of Long Island, in the West Egg. Here it transfer a mysterious young man named James Gatsby, famous for its large parties in his luxurious palace. The purpose of all this will prove to be an attempt to recover Daisy, a past love that now he had built a new life with her husband and her daughter.
The shooting of the film were made in Australia between the summer and autumn of 2011, between the Blue Mountains and Sydney.
