Creamsicle & Peanut Butter and Jelly Beers!?!? - Food Feeder

YAY!! NOAH'S BACK! And he's jumping back in the game, reporting on terrible, terrible ideas people out there have about food. Today: Tangerine Creamsicle and PB&J Beer.

The ice cream treat flavored beverage is 6.5% alcohol by volume, and it's collaboration between the Terrapin and Green Flash breweries. Which means it took two beer companies to come up with this idea. TWO! They've given it the name "Tangerine Dreamsicle," which doesn't at all sound like they were stoned when they came up with it.

Also debuting in childhood-nostalgia beer flavors: Catawba Brewing Co's Peanut Butter Jelly Time beer. Apparently named after a sandwich, and an Internet meme from 10 years ago.

Also, there's a way to keep your beer cold like an environmentally friendly way, if you've got $300 and like manual labor. They're calling it the eCool, even though we though "E" was for "electronic." Weird. http://goo.gl/DLNEU9

Do you think it's a good idea to make beer taste like your favorite foods from childhood? What do you think that says about your overall emotional health? Are you happy Noah's back (correct answer: yes)? Do you have $300 a backyard, and a desire to install the eCool Earth Cooler?
