Islamic scholars must discuss how the solution lies in the system of the Mahdi at their assembly

- A concluding statement has been published at the assembly of Islamic scholars. It referred to sectarian conflicts as incompatible with Islam and corruption. The statement concentrated on the need for the Islamic world to engage in self-criticism, for a complete renewal of the education system and for work on the establishment of a contact body with the sole purpose of ensuring unity among Muslims.
Adnan Oktar: All right, they want it very much, but 500 of them can never constitute one Mahdi. There is obviously no solution other than the system of the Mahdi. There needs to be a supra-sectarian perspective. What good is someone from a Sunni sect calling on the Shiites to talk? You will never agree. How can people be friends with members of other sects when they have all this pride, feelings of grandeur, arrogance and, worst of all, this awful lovelessness?
I am not referring to all of them, but to some of them. There is selfishness, and feelings of grandeur and arrogance, and this idea of I know best. Lovelessness has smothered them all, so how can you ever bring Muslims together? They meet up all the time and then disperse again. People sleep through the meetings.
