Dunya News - Sri Lankan President’s visit cancelled due to sit-ins: FO

Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson has said today (Thursday) that sit-ins are an internal political matter of Pakistan. The spokesperson also confirmed that the Sri Lankan President’s visit to Pakistan has been cancelled due to the ongoing sit-ins of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) in Islamabad. Spokesperson told that the Chinese President is due to visit Pakistan. However, the dates of Chinese President’s visit were not disclosed by the Foreign Office.
