AFRICA NEWS - Boko Haram: Regional security meeting held in Abuja

In Nigeria, more than 26,000 people have now fled Bama, but the government denies reports that the town had fallen to a Boko Haram assault. The Islamist insurgents have been seizing northeastern towns, declaring them to be part of a caliphate. The rapid land grab has raised fears for regional security and on Wednesday a regional security meeting was held in the Nigerian capital Abuja.
