Altaf Hussain advises the Government to go home If they are not willing to accept the demands In order to avoid Bloodshed

The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has said that the government should not aggravate the situation further and go home if it cannot accept the legitimate demands of the protestors to end the political crisis.
He expressed these views in an interview last night.
“Fifteen days have passed. People are staging protests in Islamabad despite bad weather and rain. They are staging protest in an open area under the sky. The protestors comprise of innocent children, teen girls, sisters, mothers and elders. There is no proper arrangements for the provision of food and toilet. Allah should not put anyone in such a miserable situation. I feel very sad for them. The government is not willing to accept anything. What is happening? The government should think over the situation. They have children and daughters too. The situation in Punjab has been bad for the last fifteen days. It is deplorable that the chief minister went to China on a tour. Is there bigger problem than national security? “Altaf Hussain said.
Commenting on the Model Town tragedy Mr. Hussain said, “Police fired at the people in Model Town indiscriminately and killed 14 of them. More than 80 people were injured in the incident. These people were not insects. Murderous tyrants die miserably. Allah suddenly strikes tyrants.”
“A country could run under the rule of infidels but not under any rule without a justice, “ Mr. Hussain quoted Ali (RA).
Mr. Hussain said that 14 people died and 80 were injured in the Model Town incident. He added that it was the legal and constitutional right of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek to register a FIR and the court had given a judgment in this regard. He deplored that the FIR was not being registered.
“Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri’s demands are legitimate. We cannot term all of his demands unjustified. We can discuss and negotiate his demands. How can we initiate a dialogue process if the other party is not willing to talk? All over the world new provinces are made on the basis if population. If you make such demands here people display ethnic bias. Local Government system should be established and power should be devolved to people. I don’t approve of a democracy where local government system does not exists. I consider a person an enemy of democracy if he is opposed to local government system, “ Mr. Hussain said.
“I want to see a system in the country which can offer peace and tranquility,” Mr. Hussain said.
Mr. Hussain categorically advised the government to go home if they were not willing to accept the demands in order to avoid bloodshed.
“I appeal to the government to accept the legitimate demands of the protestors to save the lives of the people and voluntarily resign, “ Mr. Hussain said.
“The continued stubbornness of the government and altercation will invite the third force. The government should show patience and forbearance and make positive decisions, “Mr. Hussain warned.
