British man reunited with daughters missing in Thailand for three months

British father Robert Day was all smiles as he arrived at a police station in Thailand's Chonburi, Province.

He and his girlfriend were there to thank police for their help in reuniting him with his two daughters, who were allegedly were abducted by their Thai mother in June.

He became choked with emotion as he recalled what it's been like for the past three months.

"You don't know…so, so much pain, you know. I've looked after my children all their life, you know, to get them back is just wonderful. It's…you know. Don't want to lose my girls, my girls are my world."

Day was granted full custody of eleven year old Ananya and six year old Aleena following a divorce and has been raising them in England.

He brought them to Thailand to see their during the school holidays. But she failed to return them as scheduled.
