The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has expressed deep concern over the suspension of talks and has urged the government to find a solution to the political crisis.
“You are in authority. You can find a solution to the political crisis by paying attention to the demands of protestors. The government should not feel embarrassment if it has to retreat in the face of opposition for the restoration of democracy and stability in the country. I appeal to the government to do that, “ Mr. Hussain said.
Mr. Hussain has urged the government to show magnanimity and take the initiative to restart the dialogue process and try to make it meaningful and result oriented.
He has also made an appeal to the heads and leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek to take into consideration the critical situation of the country. He added that they must not forget that our forces were busy in the toughest and difficult war in North Waziristan. He added that the India had started gathering forces at the bordering because of the internal condition of Pakistan. He said that India had started attacking in some areas but our armed forces and rangers and other national security agencies were repulsing their attacks.
“I once again make compassionate appeal to Pakistan Awami Tehreek and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to show magnanimous attitude. The government should also adopt a compromising approach instead of tough stance. The country’s betterment, welfare and survival depends on this, “ Mr. Hussain said.
