Having debuted in 1986 as Kim Hyun-sik and SSaW, SSaW at first consisted of 4 members - Kim Jong-jin, Jeon Tae-guan, Yoo Jae-ha and Jang Ki-ho.
The band was re-formed into the current two-man band of Kim Jong-jin and Jeon Tae-guan in 1988. SSaW worked with the best Korean musicians of the 1980s such as the late Kim Hyun-sik and the late Yoo Jae-ha.
They drew much attention by unconventionally selecting an instrumental number as the title song of their album. Even 20 years after their debut, SSaW still draws huge crowds at their concerts. They are a living legend in Korean music history.
