Pierce Brosnan pays tribute to late actor Robin Williams at "Novemeber Man" premiere

Actor Pierce Brosnan fondly remembers his relationship with late actor Robin Williams on Wednesday evening (August 13) during the premiere of his upcoming action film "The November Man." Williams, 63, was found dead of asphyxiation on Monday (August 11) in his Northern California home.

"It was shocking, his passing. I couldn't believe it, I was numb. I didn't know what to say and it took me a day to find the words to say something because I was part of a wonderful movie, "Mrs. Doubtfire," which is iconic and much loved. So, you have to speak and it was easy to speak from the heart."

Brosnan and Williams co-starred in the 1993 comedy "Mrs. Doubtfire."

Despite the loss, Brosnan was happy to promote his new spy-thriller project.
