Just before the start of the Twins-Royals game in Kansas City, a man without arms tossed out the first pitch. Tom Willis used his foot to send the ball flying across the field.

With his toes, Willis was able to get a good grip on the ball. He managed to walk towards the mound with the ball underneath his foot before lifting his leg up and sending the ball into the air.

He even wound up using his other leg. Willis explained his technique stating “Using the momentum that I've created in my hips... I get an extra whip and just try to throw straight at the catcher with the ball coming from my right foot.”

The ball was high but it did end up going in the general direction of the catcher. Willis was born without arms, so he learned at an early age how to use his feet to get basic, everyday things done.

His first pitch was certainly better than 50 Cent’s back in May when the rapper graced the pitcher’s mound at Citi Field. Instead of heading into the catcher’s glove, the ball sailed far left and nearly hit a cameraman.
